SYLVANIA MASONIC BULLETIN

April 19, 1924

 

     Charles A. Fox, a member of the Sylvania Lodge No. 287, was found dead in his home Sunday morning, March 16, 1924. Death was due to apoplexy.

     Mr. Fox was 79 years of age, was a veteran of the Civil War, having made the famous march to the sea with Sherman when only 17 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Dolph-Reeb funeral parlors. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.

     He is survived by two step-brothers, Will Fox and Geo. Fox of Toledo, and a step-sister, Mrs. Mason, of Swanton.
